I officially enrolled myself in ADMU today. Before I start a whole new generation of posts that will mostly contain shit about school that none of you, my nonexistent readers, have any business about, let me first proclaim my newfound love for Ateneo. That’s right, LS-freaking-GH. I LOVE ATENEO.
You have to admit, that was some good brainwashing.

The OrSem was the most fun I’ve had in ages, and that’s saying something, considering how it mostly involved running around the big-ass campus (my feet still hurt as I type this), sharing an enclosed area with over 3,000 people, assloads of noise, and forced social interaction with complete strangers – all activities normally on my list of the world’s atrocities.
I suppose it has to do with my course block. I love my block (this isn’t sarcasm, I swear!). Pretty damned hard not to, since there are only 19 of us (as opposed to most others going 30 and above)), 15 of which are girls. 15 out of 19, people. I don’t know about everyone else, but when I realize I just spent an entire four years in an exclusive high school, I appreciate the change of scenery rather quickly.
I love the Comm crowd too. We got to meet ACOMM, the newly-accredited Communications home org, when they dished out these nutbar presentations for the course/departmental talks. Everyone is crazy as hell, including the department head. I think I may have just gotten my license to act weird and obnoxious.
Now, OrSem Night on the third day was a lot more fun than I expected. It was basically a concert featuring some well-known bands (Rivermaya, Parokya ni Edgar, among others), but as much as I love the music, I try to stay away from these things since I have little tolerance for crowds and noise. Apparently however, the gods wanted me to have a good time. Kamikazee ended the night with Narda, where I finally joined everyone in screaming the lyrics. Good time.
Incidentally, Spongecola sucks live even more than they do on record. Now why am I not surprised? Lose the growling, asshole. Think of the children.
So much for that. I'm volunteering for next year.
